Beginner to intermediate moves are covered, as well as the essential knowledge required for setting up an aerial hoop business. Start your instructing career the right way with a qualification that gives you all the essential knowledge and skills to be a safe and effective instructor Our Beginner to Intermediate Course is split into theory and practical sections, each with an assessment.    Course Overview ​​The Beginner to Intermediate Course is split into 2 parts (theory and practical assessment). This course takes approximately 20 hours to complete plus an additional 3-4 hours of assessment time.    Requirements We recommend 1 year of experience of doing aerial hoop as a student You must have access to an environment suitable for safely executing all moves covered to complete this training Exercise to Music level 2 or equivalent (advisory) Anatomy and physiology knowledge and customer service experience (advisory) First aid certification   Assessment Theory assessment via online multiple-choice exam. Pole Passion Grading - Level 5A   Our innovative grading system gives instructors and students the opportunity to demonstrate their ability at the different levels of our syllabus and receive recognition and award for their efforts. Working towards a grading will not only help with your continuing professional development but will really build your confidence around the pole too. If you are not used to linking moves or putting routines together, the grading is a great way to start to develop these skills in a structured way.    Format This course is an online course which includes instructions and videos on how to complete the required moves for the Level 5A Grade.  After studying the moves and practicing and perfecting them, you are required to film yourself completing a routine lasting 5:30 - 6mins. The routine must include all of the required moves.  The video is submitted to Pole Passion via Vimeo, YouTube, Wetransfer or Dropbox link. You can also post a DVD / USB.  A qualified and experienced assessor will review your video and provide you with your result, including feedback where relevant to help with your development.  Read More
