Pole Passion Grading - Level 4   Our innovative grading system gives instructors and students the opportunity to demonstrate their ability at the different levels of our syllabus and receive recognition and award for their efforts. Working towards a grading will not only help with your continuing professional development but will really build your confidence around the pole too. If you are not used to linking moves or putting routines together, the grading is a great way to start to develop these skills in a structured way.    Format This course in an online course which includes instructions and videos on how to complete the required moves for the Level 4 Grade.  After studying the moves and practising and perfecting them, you are required to film yourself completing a routine lasting 4-4:30mins. The routine must include all of the required moves.  The video is submitted to Pole Passion via Vimeo, YouTube, Wetransfer or Dropbox link. You can also post a DVD / USB.  A qualified and experienced assessor will review your video and the provide you with your result, including feedback where relevant to help with your development.  You must have completed and passed Grading Level 3 before taking Grading Level 4. Advanced Course Overview   Our Advanced Pole Fitness Instructor Course covers all the fundamentals of growing an established Pole Fitness business. This course will give you the skills and knowledge you need to progress to advanced level instructing. As well as the progression in practical moves, we look at how to retain students and how to deal with the some of the challenges instructors face when teaching at an advanced level. This course builds on the fundamentals covered in the Foundation course, so it is a requirement that you have completed the Foundation Pole Fitness Instructor Course (or equivalent) before starting this course. Take your teaching to a new level and give your students the best possible instructing! Our Advanced Course is split into theory and practical sections, each with an assessment.    Theory section: Online learning that covers essential knowledge for teaching at advanced level. This includes physical aspects such as exercise components, anatomy and physiology for pole fitness, injury prevention, methodology, technique and spotting. In addition, a section of the course is dedicated to the mental and psychological aspects of teaching, including instructor / student boundaries, pole fitness and body image and learning styles.   Practical section: Online videos and explanations of over 45 advanced level static pole moves, including conditioning, grips, combinations, poses and inverts. Includes demonstrations of safe and competent spotting where appropriate.   Course format: Online theory and practical learning Online theory assessment Practical assessment consisting of a mock lesson teaching 5 of the moves covered in the course. The moves are chosen at random by the assessor. The practical exam is completed via video assessment, submitted via video/vimeo/youtube/dropbox link.  The exam can also be completed in person by attending the exam portion of one of our scheduled training dates. FOUNDATION COURSE OVERVIEW   Our Foundation Pole Fitness Instructor Course covers all the fundamentals of becoming a pole fitness instructor. Beginner to intermediate moves are covered, as well as the essential knowledge required for setting up a pole fitness business. Start your instructing career the right way with a certification that gives you all the essential knowledge and skills to be a safe and effective instructor. Our Foundation Course is split into theory and practical sections, each with an assessment.    Theory section: Online learning that covers essential knowledge for teaching at beginner to intermediate level. This includes set-up aspects such as choosing a venue, choosing equipment and recruiting clients. In addition, the course provides you with the knowledge and skills required for running regular safe and effective lessons, including information on risk assessments, client screening, lesson planning, motivating clients, class control, choreography, licences and insurance.    Practical section: Online videos and explanations of over 75 beginner and intermediate level moves on static pole, including grips, transitions, transition combinations, poses and spins. Each move is broken down to allow you to teach it safely and effectively. Example warm up and cool down routines are also included.   Course format: Online theory and practical learning Online theory assessment Practical assessment consisting of a mock lesson teaching 5 of the moves covered in the course. The moves are allocated to each student at random. The practical exam is completed by video assessment, which is sent to us by email or submitted via video/Vimeo/Youtube/Dropbox link. The practical exam can also be completed in person by attending the exam portion of one of our scheduled training dates.
